The Manuscript Codex * Binding
FULL LEATHER BINDING

Binding in which the outer covering material consists only of leather (excepting any subsidiary onlays, inlays or underlays made of a different material). Usually these bindings are made in one of two ways: either with a single piece of leather covering the entire outer surface of the binding, or with two pieces (the two-piece technique) covering the outer surface.
